Allegheny Airlines

Allegheny Airlines was an airline based in Pennsylvania. It was renamed "USAir" in 1979.

Today, Allegheny is a regional airline flying under contract to, and wholly owned by, US Airways. It flies under the trade name "US Airways Express," maintaining the Allegheny name officially in order to keep the trademark under US Airways' control. The airline is headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and flies primarily De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprop aircraft.
