JALways
JALways is an airline subsidiary of Japan Airlines. It operates under the IATA airline code JO, and specializes in flights between major Japanese cities and island resorts in the Pacific Ocean.JALways uses four Boeing 747 and five McDonnell Douglas DC-10 aircraft. Its flight crews are based in Honolulu, Hawaii and are predominantly American, while its cabin attendants are trained and based in Bangkok, Thailand and are predominantly Asian. JO operates independently of JAL, but shares livery and interline benefits: this is primarily to avoid the higher labor costs of JAL's Japanese crews and maintenance.
