Målselv
The municipality Målselv in the county of Troms, Norway, has 6,856 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002. Its area is 3324km².Målselv was settled by farmers from southern Norway, especially Østerdalen from 1796 and onwards. They were attracted by the uninhabited land with vast forests and areas of fertile land in the Målselv valley.
