Manchester Airport Group

The Manchester Airport Group is a holding company owned by the boroughs of the metropolitan county of Greater Manchester. It was formed to own Manchester Airport, when the county council of Greater Manchester was disbanded. A majority share (55%) is owned by Manchester itself, and the other boroughs own 5% each.

Since its spin-off, it has branched out into other ventures. In additional to Manchester Airport, it now owns Bournemouth International Airport, Nottingham East Midlands Airport, and Humberside International Airport.
