Ras al-Khaimah

Ras al-Khaimah (Arabic:راس الخيمة) is one of the United Arab Emirates.

It is ruled by Sheikh Saqr ibn Muhammad al-Qasimi, and consists of two main parts. The first is on the northern coast of the country, bordering Oman. The emirate has a population of about 155,000 inhabitants.

The city is home to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
