Rob Grant

Rob Grant is a British comedy writer. With Doug Naylor he worked on Spitting Image, Red Dwarf, The Ten Percenters and various Jasper Carrot projects.

After the sixth series of Red Dwarf, Grant left, saying he wished to "have more on my tombstone that Red Dwarf". He has since written 2 TV series, Dark Ages and The Strangerers, and has written two books - Backwards, a sequel to the last joint Red Dwarf book Better Than Life, and Colony, which uses many of the same themes.
