Hemerocallis Flava or in
English called Yellow Day Lily because of short duration of its blossoms,
is a beautiful flower from Hexandria Monogynia family.
This perfectly distinct species,
native of Hungary and Siberia, and consequently bears colder climate exceedingly
well. Yellow Day Lily requires a moist soil, and a situation somewhat shady,
and is easily propagated by parting its roots in autumn. The flavor is
distinguished by the fragrance of its blossoms.
